Go Tigers!

Saturday was a huge football day in the state of South Carolina, the Clemson/Carolina game. I grew up a Clemson fan so of course I say Go Tigers!!!
We went over to my parents house to hang out for the afternoon while the game was on. I watched only a little bit of it if we are being honest here but I am So glad they won!

Scooters have become a big thing while we are there! Thankfully I think these 2 are getting their own for Christmas which means no more fights over them! (hopefully)

We had the cutest little tiger of them all to play with!

Dave and the kids played Uno. The girls ditched the boys after an hour then Dave and Logan played for another hour by themselves. Insane!
My cousin Alicia and 2 of her kids came by and played for awhile! The girls really did play well together for the most part. You know there is the typical bickering that comes with any group of kids playing together but it wasn't bad.

These girls played on the scooters for a good hour together!

This is my cousins Oliver, we have 2 and they are both adorable!

Definitely a nice day with the family!! The weather was gorgeous again, we have had amazing weather the last few days which best continue for Friday and Saturday when we are moving all our stuff!

Our black friday

This is how we do Black Friday....

I worked until noon thirty then came home and spent the rest of the day with these crazies! I did go to the gym for 30 minutes before they kicked me out (closing time)

Dave took them to the AFB park then I didn't want to go home so we went to the park at Park Circle which is a pretty nice park.

Oh how I wish we had a yard for them to go play in BUT I think Dave and I have a semi solution to this problem when we move. Our balcony will overlook a huge grassy area so they could go play as long as one of us is watching them from the porch. I really hope this works out because these kids need to be able to go out and play.

 I really love this guy!
We got home from the park, they skyped with their mom for a minute then Dave worked on his car so we spent a little more time outside. Alayna came out dressed "up" then asked if I would take her picture because she was pretty.
A very simple day but it was also really nice even though I worked. I actually got some training classes done at work which was great because it was QUIET which is needed for these classes!

Thanksgiving Day 2015

I just want to start out by saying I had a really good turkey day!! I started the day out feeling better thank God (had been sick the previous 2 days) and decided I was going to the gym!
I got in a good 45 minute workout, I could tell I was weaker but it was still a really good workout. When I walked out the sun was coming up and just looked so pretty over the pool! I can't wait to be able to see pretty sunrises over the pool when we move, which happens next Friday!

One tradition I like to keep up with is watching the Macys Thanksgiving day parade. I didn't watch a lot of it but I did catch some of it.

We got to JI around 11:30 and hung out until the food was done.

Before and after, mom made some really yummy food and I definitely enjoyed it all!! I absolutely LOVE Holiday foods, casseroles are my love language when it comes to foods!
 Shannon, Mommy and me!

After lunch the girls were outside making up dance routines and I got these 2 cute pictures of them!
2 lazy butts! Turkey did them in (Dave on the left Shannon on the right)

Dad and Dave threw the football for a few minutes

I went to Shannons to grab some scooters and it provided a few hours of entertainment!
I love these wild and crazy kids! They have a tendency to drive me nuts at times but I love em regardless! ;) each and every one of them! Missing the bubs!

A bike ride for me and scooters for Isabelle and Logan! It felt nice to spend so much time outside, it truly was a gorgeous day! The weather could not have been any better!

My little family, I know Logan isn't smiling but I think he looks so handsome in this picture!

We left around 5:30 and we were all wiped out! Baths were taken, the kids ate some cereal for dinner then we all watched TV until bedtime. I was exhausted and could have gone to sleep around 7 but I had to stay up otherwise I would have been up WAY too early this morning. I am working until noon today then will start my weekend!

Hope your turkey day was great and enjoy the weekend!

Thankful

I saw someone post about what they are thankful for and I really liked it so I thought I would share my list as well.

1. I am thankful first and foremost for my God, he loves me despite all my mess ups and imperfections and knowing that I have a place in Heaven with him is the most comforting feeling in the world.

2. I am thankful for everyone in this picture below. My family is my everything and I love them unconditionally!
 3. My friends, I may not have as many as I once did but the ones I have are really awesome. I wish we saw each other more but life just gets BUSY! No matter how much time passes we always pick right back up where we left off.

4. My job. It provides a comfortable life for me and I don't hate it which most people can't say. I am truly blessed by great co-workers and amazing bosses. In fact one of my big bosses just stopped by to tell me to have a Happy Thanksgiving, and you can truly tell they really do care.

5. I am thankful for my health (even though I am currently sick) overall my health is pretty darn good except for the little random sicknesses that everyone gets. Losing weight and eating healthier has helped so much too.

5. FREEDOM. I am so thankful to live in a country where I am not controlled to great lengths and we are not tortured or living in war zones. I can't even watch the news most days because it saddens me to see what happens in so many other countries. Our military fight hard to keep us safe and provide us this freedom and I appreciate it.

I could truly list many many many more things to be thankful for but overall I am thankful for LIFE. Almost daily (sometimes I forget to pray tisk tisk) I thank God for the life he has given me because I know I am truly blessed.

I hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving with tons of yummy food. I am excited for tomorrow, it will be more intimate with just my immediate family and mom is planning to teach us her recipes! Plus Dave and the kids will be with us, his trip to New Jersey got cancelled because of his pneumonia. While I hate he missed his trip I am really glad he is with me for the holiday.
