Night of a Thousand Candles

This past friday some of the fam and I headed to Myrtle Beach. The main part of the trip was Brook Green Gardens night of a thousand candles. We froze our butts off but the lights were gorgeous! We took lots of fun pictures and spent quality time together! It was a nice trip! We spent the night in a pretty sweet beach house too! We watched some tv, chatted and drank wine! Saturday we woke up semi early and headed out for lots of shopping! I finally finished all of my Christmas shopping! Everything is now wrapped and ready for Christmas day :)

Merry Christmas to you all since I prob won't post again until afterwards!

A little catch up!

Holy cow it's almost Christmas! Seriously where has the time gone?? Things have been so busy lately that time is just slipping by without me noticing!

Here are a few highlights if you will from the last few weeks!

I went to NYC 2 weekends ago to see my cousin and had an absolute blast! It was chilly and a bit rainy but we still had so much fun. I need to do a post with just my NYC pics. I must say seeing Christmas in New York is a must do in life. Incredibly beautiful only downfall is tons of people!

I moved back home. This is a sore subject but it happened and im accepting it. Living with my parents is honestly great but there's just something about living on your own. Hopefully I can figure it all put and get my own place (no roommate) sometime in the near future.

Spending more time with family and the positive people in my life. I have been kn a serious rut and am trying to change it. Started going back to church is a big one that is really turning things around for me. Here's to hoping 2013 brings way better things because 2012 hasn't been the greatest.

Christmas Service at Newspring last night was awesome! Www.newspring.cc go there and stream the video. Let's just day im choosing the white suit thank you!!

Oh and blogger changed so I have no idea how the pictures will show up lol but they are from an afternoon with my niece and just other random ones.

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Music and coffee

Last night I went out with my friend Kelly to a coffee/wine bar ( how art thou) to listen to some music. The two guys singing, Matt and Toby, used to be in the band Emery. They are currently doing what they call a living room tour which sometimes is literally in peoples living rooms. I had honestly never heard any of the music before last night. I must say they were absolutely wonderful! I loved how they had such deep emotional songs that really got to ya (in a good way). I plan to buy the cd soon although I should have last night. Google them you won't be sorry!!

This was in the bar for only $1,200 ;) it was made from the driftwood of a palmetto tree! So neat but it had to stay there for obvious reasons!

Here are the guys singing! Nothing better than live music!

Cola day with my bestie

Last saturday was such an awesome day that went by too quickly. I drove up to Columbia to meet my best friend and her son. We went to the childrens museum and had a blast! That's where all of the pics were taken. Even me being 25 had fun there which is saying alot. :) after the museum we had lunch at Moes. I LOVE moes so that was a hit! Then we drove around Columbia looking for stuff to do. We ended up at the mall. Got sick on the carousel (spelt that wrong) then did some shopping. Oh and ate some ice cream! I hated to say goodbye but I am glad to have had that one day with them. Josh was so cute all day telling me he loved me so many times! Melts my heart to hear that especially since I only see him every 6 months or so now. But he did almost see me everyday the first 2 years of his life!

Oh and new hair color :) it's cut too but haven't taken a pic yet!

Thanksgiving 2012

I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone. Christmas is right around the corner and I am so not ready for it! I am ready for my birthday though. Fun plans in the works for that.

I worked out with Shannon before thanksgiving dinner. Lets just say I am so sore today it hurts to walk. Got to love leg days in the gym :)

This year we had dinner at my aunts fiances house. It was really nice! Some of us ate outside and it turned out to be great since the weather was so nice! Tons of food and family time is always a good thing in my book. I have a lot to be thankful for this year. It may be the hardest year of my life thus far but I am still thankful foe all the good. My family, friends, job, health etc! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
