Baseball season

Friday night Kelly and I decided we would hang out. We are the worst at deciding what we are going to do! She had the idea to head to a Riverdogs game and it was a great idea. Normally i'm not that into the game but for whatever reason this game really kept my attention. We won 8 to 1 and they played really well. It probably helped that the other teams pitcher kinda sucked. Although according to the old man in front of us he was great! Eh im not going to argue with him! I know what I saw haha 

We ended up sitting in between two groups of people. The ones to our left were super nice and into small talk. The people to our right were drunk! Haha they were entertaining and I ended up with a free beer so I won't complain.

It was such a great night for baseball. The weather was absolutely perfect!!

Every friday they do fireworks after the game. It's always a really pretty show. This one actually caught one of their signs on fire! We were surprised at first we thought our eyes were messing with us!

What stinks though is I prob won't go again for awhile because soon Charleston will be HOT!! But we shall see!

Sistas b-day

About 2 weeks ago we celebrated my sister Shannons birthday! We had a very fun girls night out with some awesome ladies! We started out at The Wild Olive for dinner. I only had wine which was delish. I have been dealing with stomach issues so I just ate before I left. After there we went to Jpaulz for drinks! They have some verrrrry good margaritas so I got that. We talked and laughed for a few hours. I treasure times like that because they are the moments that matter. Great women great conversations lots of laughs equal an amazing evening!! Truly blessed to have people like that in my life!

Fear no Easel

Friday night my cousin and I went to Fear no Easel for a girls night out! We got some chips and beer to take with us! You can't forget the snacks :) We got there before anyone else which was cool because we got to chat with the ladies who work there whom were sooo nice! Also, we had first dibs on seats! We got the best ones up front by the artist. When we had a question it got answered first!

I don't get to see my cousin often because our schedules are so different. So it was nice to chat have a few beers and laugh at our painting skills! We thought ours were just ok until we went to leave and saw other peoples. Let's just say ours looked amazing compared to a lot of the others! We had a boost of confidence after that!! All in all it was a very fun night and we both definitely want to do it again!

Painting fun

So this past monday night I met up with a great group of ladies to celebrate Laurens birthday! We had a lot of fun but this painting wasn't all that easy. If you are OCD it would have been even harder to paint. There was direction from the teacher obviously but it wasn't detailed completely. It was also kind of fun to be able to make the painting more your own! They all looked so different and I loved that!

Tonight I am actually going again to a different place with my cousin to paint again! This is turning into a paint week for me. I am also helping my friend Shannon paint her new house on saturday before she moves in! I have never painted a house before so we shall see how this turns out. I already told her I may not be good but we will find out! :)

Beautiful afternoon

Yesterday after the gym I decided to get my niece and go to the park. It was chilly but a beautiful afternoon and it wasn't going to be spent inside. I met up with my sister to get Izzy and we headed downtown. We went to a park right on the water and it was fun to watch the boats and feel the breeze off the harbor while playing. There were a lot of kids but they kept to themselves. I remember when I was young playing with any and every kid on the playground. I guess times really have changed huh? I feel bad for these kids it's like they are missing out. I know for a fact that my childhood rocked and i had fun ALL the time outside! Anyway we played for about an hour and even went for a walk on the dock which was nice. I didn't have to worry about them falling in since this dock was built very nice! There were railings everywhere u turned! I definitely need to make it a point to try an take the girls there more!

Color me rad more pics

Today they posted the professional pics taken at the race! Some of them were NOT cute haha but I liked these 2! A nice action shot and then us at the very end! I am glad we waited in the line to get the pic! I think it's cute plus it's a normal pic that we didn't have to take ourselves! Can't wait for this race next year!

St. Patricks day

Last weekend was so much fun! Friday night I babysat and watched Sex and the City. Then Saturday I went out to park circle with some friends for the festivities! It was so warm which was nice! I even got a sunburn which I was not expecting! We had some yummy food, a few beers, hoolahooped, played cornhole, and acted silly! I definitely want to go back again next year! Cheap and a lot of fun! Win win :)

This weekend should be fun too!! I am doing the color me rad race as long as tje weather cooperates! And may get to see my cousin who will be in town! Lots of fun to be had!!

Color Me Rad 5K

Yesterday Kelly and I did the color me rad 5K! That was so much fun!! We were completely covered head to toe with the color bombs! Most of the race you are just running/walking is just in an open field. Then you go through stations where people spray you with color or throw the bombs on you! So much fun and definitely different! We definitely plan to do it again next year!

This weekend ended up being pretty great ended with a very lazy Sunday!! Hope yall had a great weekend too!!

Folly

My happy place... Folly Beach SC! I went out there yesterday with my friend Amanda and got to see the sunset! Made me so ready for summer! It was warm and made me want to swim. However, the water was a bit too cold! No thanks haha
