Canoe Trip

Saturday was another BEAUTIFUL day! The previous weekend I told my Aunt Susan I wanted to go Canoe the Santee Canal. We thought we wouldn't be able to but come Saturday morning the weather was great so we went out there. Talk about a PERFECT day! When we were canoeing down the canal it was just SO peaceful. All you could hear was us and some animals otherwise it was just peace and quiet. I was happy the water was still cold because we didn't see any snakes or alligators. Although we did see an Owl, 5 egrets (sp?), an osprey and some other birds which I can't identify. Oh and my Aunts boyfriend caught a turtle IN the water. He swooped his hand in and came up with a turtle. Boys are so weird! Here are some pics from our adventure. They took me to the commissary afterwards and that was awesome because their groceries are so much cheaper! I got a LOT just for a little bit of money. Normally I go grocery shopping spend alot and come out wondering what I bought because I hardly have anything. Maybe I should jump on the coupon bandwagon... nah too much work! haha
