Stormy Fun

This past weekend was a 4 day weekend for us and we had the kids so we knew we had to have lots of fun planned. This will be the first part of the fun weekend because part 2 has a lot more pictures!
After we picked up the kids Friday night we drove by our lot to see if there was progress (there wasn't) but we got to see a really pretty rainbow near by!
After we had dinner and baths it was bible story time followed by some snapchat fun which made the kids laugh hysterically!

Saturday we went to the AFB gym then to the commissary for some groceries. We got home had some lunch and decided to go to the pool even though we were going with friends later. So a few weeks ago a storm blew this pool float into the bushes and I decided to grab it because it looked cool and nobody was there to claim it. I used it Saturday at the pool and when I got inside I had this crazy line on my arm. Dave thinks it was from the gym (this has NEVER happened before) and I think it was the pool float. Very odd but it did go away in a few days luckily.

Later in the afternoon we went to swim with our Newmans, unfortunately it was short lived thanks to some stormy weather. We still enjoyed the maybe 30 mins we got to be in the pool. We like their pool a lot more than ours!

I love how much these 3 love each other and have fun together! Another year and little Isaac will be running around with them! We can't WAIT to meet him in one month or less :)

We had a yummy dinner then the men and the kids went outside to play/fish. Ashley and I stayed inside chatting on the couch which is one of my fave things to do with her! I have always loved just chillen on her couch chatting about any and everything! We have done this for years!

We had a great start to our weekend and loved our time with our friends!

Fun in the Sun

This past Saturday I started my day out with a 1.5 mile walk with Teddy which was HOT. The fact that I was sweating that much at 7am is just ridiculous. I really am not a huge fan of summer except for the pool and the boat being an option.

We headed down to JI to go out in the boat for a few hours with the fam!

Dad anchored the boat for a little bit for us to jump off the boat and swim. The water felt amazing but the current was a little strong so I didn't want to stay in the water for too long.

We got back, hung out for a few then headed home. Dave was supposed to do school work but we were so tired. We did muster up the energy to go grocery shopping and stopped by our lot.

A fun weekend for sure! Sunday was church then hanging out some more with the fam! This weekend will surely be much busier as long as the rain holds out.

Fathers Day Weekend

So Friday we got the kids early because their mom was going out of town. Initially Dave was going to get them and then go workout but I decided to go get them for him. I wish I had not done that, the worst storm I have ever experienced hit while I was driving to get them. I called dad because surely there was a tornado 2 feet from my car and I was shaking. Ok so no tornado but holy cow the wind was INSANE! Needless to say I am pretty sure that takes the cake for scariest moment in my life.
When I finally got home an hour and a half after leaving work, I took Teddy for a walk and there were limbs everywhere AND the umbrella was in the lake.
Alayna got to play with the dolls my Aunt Theresa and Grammy got her for her birthday!
We had dinner then we all went to bed after baths! My nerves were shot and unfortunately I still didn't sleep very well.

Saturday started with an early workout then trip to the grocery store, then I went to the baby shower. When I got home we decided to all go for a bike ride which was really fun. Although I should not have worn my capri sweat pants because holy sweat batman. It is getting very hot and I almost don't even want to go outside now. Even the pool yesterday was too hot!

We spotted Mr. Alligator on our way, this time he was next to our side, normally he is across the pond. We got back and played in the pool for a little bit, cooked dinner, baths then bed!

Sunday was Fathers day! I took Teddy for a long walk that morning, meal prepped some, everyone got ready and we headed to church. They had a fun photobooth set up so of course we had to take silly pictures. I hate the lighting on Alayna's face, you can't even see her smile!

Family pictures! A friend at church was kind enough to take one with me in it.

We went home, had lunch, hung out for awhile then headed down to JI to hang with the family.

We played cornhole, hung out back chatting, Logan and Alayna played, we all ate yummy burgers for dinner followed by cookie cake *yum* then headed home.

Aunt Theresa brought them back goodies from Yellowstone which for Logan included a whistle, binoculars and a park ranger badge. To say he was excited would be an understatement, he loved all of his gifts.

We had a great fathers day!! I got the most epic selfie with my daddy too and it will be going in a frame once we get the house and I have more room for more frames. I was so glad to get to spend time with my dad and the rest of the family. As you get older it becomes more and more obvious your family is everything and life is short so enjoy every moment with them that you can!
