4 day weekend

How can a 4 day weekend end so quickly? I feel like it was just Thursday! I guess when they are really good they go faster! The roomie and I went to Fayetteville this past weekend to see his parents! The weather turned out to be great which I wasn't expecting. Thank goodness on that one. We had lots of fun going to museums, grilling out, shopping, going on the 4-wheeler, chatting and playing a lil beer pong! Kodie and Skylar had a great time playing with the other 2 dogs and running around the yard all weekend! Those puppies sure can be funny when they get together! Skylar especially, she went nuts over a bird feeder. We are still unsure what that was all about! Sunday we got back and just chilled which was nice. After such a busy weekend of fun we needed it!

And yesterday I did something I have never done. I worked out twice in one day. Did a normal workout in the AM then joined my friend Shannon for spin last night. This girl is goin to bed early tonight thats for sure! I probably shouldn't have stayed up last night watching tv :) woops!

We bought these stars about a month ago and while we were up there this weekend he got to finally paint them! They are awesome!! Originally they were going to be red and black but decided red and brown were actually good together!

Weekend in pictures

Well this a little late since it's wednesday and all. This past weekend was most certainly a good one. Friday night I went out with the roomie and some friends to a bar. I learned how to play pool and had a beer in the process. I was the DD (designated driver) for the evening so drinking was not really happening! We did go play beer pong with his bro in law before going home. Yes I played but I maybe drank 3 of the cups so no worries :)


The puppies were squirrel hunting before we left friday! They are too funny!


I am basically the same height as a pool stick. Sad!

Saturday I was supposed to go to the fair but the traffic was horrible so I didn't. However, the roomie and I went to chilis YUMMM then walmart! Later we had one of his friends come over for beer pong! So my saturday turned out to still be a great time despite not going to the fair.



Sunday I went shopping at forever 21 then went to my old gym for body pump! I miss that gym its kinda ridiculous how much I miss it! I also made picture frames with Shannon! So much fun and cheap! I should have taken a picture! I will later :)



This weekend im going to North Carolina with the roomie to see his parents. Hopefully I don't freeze to death so I can share about it later :)

Happy Birthday Izzy

I can't believe 3 years ago today my little Izzy was born! I love getting to be her aunt and Godmother. She is a fire cracker to say the least but I love her silly self! Happy Birthday Isabelle!

Halloween weekend

Well this Halloween turned out a bit better than the last. Le sigh not going there. Anyways saturday I went to JI to spend time with the fam and go to my aunts annual Halloween party. I had lunch with my sister and the girls then we headed out to Folly to see the waves that Sandy was giving us. They were pretty big considering the waves we are used to having are not. Then I headed to mom and dads to hang there for a bit. We went to the party later that night which was fun. Yummy food, costumes and time with the fam!











Sunday I went to the pumpkin patch with Ash, her family and a few friends! We had a really good time! We saw a ton of animals even fed cows on a hayride. Feeding cows is disgusting by the way but hey gotta try it at least once just to say it happened.

Sunday night I finally carved my pumpkin. My roomie helped me which was a good thing so I didn't end up losing a finger :)





This is what I wore to work yesterday. Ive been sick with a cold this week so I figured the more clothes the better. So that meant no costume but this worked. I was very warm and got lots of compliments on my awesome tights!

Yes I am still alive

Wow I really haven't blogged since July?!?! That's just crazy! I have a new app on my phone for blogging so now I have no excuse! Plus I missed it so it will be fun to start again!

So much has happened since then so ill just put a few things! I am officially settled into my new apartment! Adjusting to that was much harder than expected! I am now a Government employee. I have gotten better at darts and beer pong haha and even shot guns for the first time. Now that was a fun experience! Ive lost some more weight which is exciting, learned how to cook, spending time with friends as much as possible, changed gyms :( , adjusting to having a lot less spending money and just having fun! This is going to be one of those super random posts but thats ok maybe the next will be better!
