Moving Day

Well tomorrow is the day, Moving day that is!! We already signed our lease and tomorrow we pick up our keys and gate badge. I am excited/sad/anxious/happy ETC! Can we say every emotion in one? I am excited to prove to myself that I can do this. I am going to miss being home a lot. This is the only home I have ever lived in. But I know I can do this, I think I have checked my budget a MILLION times! haha So tomorrow is the BIG day and Im sure ill post some pictures of our craziness. I have to show you BEFORE and AFTER pictures! :) Have a great weekend!!!

Wordless Wednesday-Beach edition

Another Splash Zone Trip

Today after work I went to pick Lola up from JoJo's (her babysitters). Just like last tuesday we went to Splash zone and had a BLAST. We didn't know but Josh and Blake were there too so the kids played the whole time together. Then we went to Chik-fil-a with my aunt and grandmother and Seth came a bit later to eat with us. It was kids night so she had a GREAT time. She made some kind of playdough or something like it. Overall a great evening but I tell you what she can ware my butt out. Therefore its time to brush my teeth, wash my face and hit the hay. Did I mention I delivered mail all day too? Yup Im TIRED!!!

This was JUST SOME of the furniture. It was HUGE!!!!!


On Saturday Kelly and I headed to the BEST STORE EVER. IKEA . It was definitely worth the trip to Charlotte, NC. It took about 3 1/2 hours to get there then we spent 4 hours in the store. The top floor was the showroom where they had the rooms all set up and the furniture was all set up so you could see what you want. THEN you go downstairs and pick up everything you saw upstairs that you wanted. The prices were UNBELIEVABLE. So Cheap I only spent $81 and I got a good bit. Kelly spent more but she got a TON including her bed. So if anyone lives anywhere near an IKEA you MUST go there. Today is my dads birthday so most likely ill have more pictures to post later!! Now I feel like an Adult

Well yesterday Kelly and I went to Sabal Palms at 4 to sign our lease. We don't actually move in until the 31st which is next friday. But we figured it would be easier to have it all done and ready to go on that day. Today I set up our SCE&G account in my name. She will do comcast in her name which is nice. I feel like such an adult now its SO weird. Its a bittersweet thing for me. I am sad to leave home (only house I have EVER lived in) but at the same time SO excited to venture out on my own into an apartment with Kelly. Mom and Dad just better not SELL the house then I would be sad.

Tomorrow Kelly and I are heading up to Charlotte to go to IKEA. I have heard WONDERFUL things about this store and am rather excited to go. PLUS, I get to see Susan for lunch and I think she is going shopping with us. I don't really plan to buy much unless I find cute stuff. Im mainly looking for cheap chairs, curtains, and maybe some deep pots. So we shall see what I come home with. She is planning to get her bed from there and whatever else she has seen online.

Splash Zone

Today after work I went and picked up Lola from her daycare. We changed into our bathing suits and headed to Splash Zone at the county park. We met my 2 aunts, one of their bfs, my grammy, and my cousin there sometime after 4. It was a really good time the water was a little bit chilly at first but you get used to it KINDA quickly. After we left splash zone we went to kids night at Chik-fil-a! They let her eat for FREE and had games for her. She ended up leaving with a balloon, stuffed cow, and a beach ball. All in all a good afternoon. Now time to start packing a LITTLE bit. :)

SOOOO excited

So I got my bed yesterday from Big Lots!! I am NOW ready to move out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bed. I was actually going to settle for a cheaper bed BUT Seth loves me. Therefore, he helped me purchase the sleigh bed! Isn't he the best?? The other bed was nice but this one is just ME! I have wanted a sleigh bed for as long as I can remember. So just wanted to share my excitement!! less than 2 weeks until I move. I started packing yesterday and got a bit overwhelmed. I have packed 4 boxes and have a TON of furniture etc already in our garage. My poor dad he LOVES to keep his garage looking nice. And I have junked it up!! I keep reminding him its temporary!

Anyway, I hope everyone has a lovely monday. Im the switchboard operator for the morning HOPEFULLY not the whole day. So my morning consists of " Good Morning, Spawar switchboard how can I help you?" fun right? haha

Susan came to visit!!!!

Well I have had another Busy weekend! Now im not complaining that its busy but I am ready for a bit of a break. But I will have no such luck in that department. Next weekend Kelly and I are heading up to Charlotte to go to Ikea and to see Susan for the day!!! CANT WAIT!!! I have heard Ikea is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Then the next weekend Kelly and I are moving into our apartment!! SOOO EXCITED!!!!

Anyways this weekend my friend Susan came to town from Charlotte. I had not seen her since LAST February. So it was a much overdue visit. She actually came in Thursday night and also stayed Friday night with me. I didn't get to visit with her much thursday night because she got in late and so did I. But we got to my house at the exact same time. Thursday is the last time I will see Pam, Wyatt and the kids for quite some time. I just hope its not TOO long. I will REALLY miss her. But Thursday she had a cookout and got some of us to help with the packing etc. Then I got to drive home in a monsoon it was SCARY. I think I had white knuckles the WHOLE drive home and finally got off the interstate because I couldn't take it any longer. ANYWAYS Friday I went to work and Susan headed out to the beach and did some shopping. I was SO jealous if I could have taken the day off I would have. BUT my co-worker was not there all week so I had to go to work. Friday night we hung out with Shannon at the mall for a bit then went to pick up Lola from VBS at Coastal. Susan got to see a couple of people she wanted to see so that was nice. Then we headed to Ihop for some pancakes. I have a new love for pancakes. I used to only get french toast there but the last 2 times I have been there I ordered pancakes. YUMMY!!

Saturday we woke up at the butt crack of dawn. 7:50 haha I know its not THAT early but for a Saturday yes that is early. We got the cooler all packed up and headed to the Yacht club. We went out in the boat with the family and had a GREAT time. Susan is from Indiana, went to school in TN, and now lives in Charlotte. Therefore anything involving the beach or ocean she is down for. She had alot of firsts on our boat trip one thing was holding a dead shark. haha much more brave than I!!! We also saw a TON of starfish EVERYWHERE. I have never seen so many just laying on the beach. She found a dead one and took it back to show her class. She is a second grade teacher in NC and found quite a few treasures to take back to show her class this year. After the beach/boat trip we came back and chilled. She got to meet Seth and he bought all of us some pizza. Thanks honey!! She left around 6ish.

Saturday NIGHT Seth, Shannon, Lola, Tony, Mom, Dad, Papa and I all went to a Riverdogs game. They played like crap but thats ok. The experience was fun and the weather turned out nice. When we FIRST got their it was POURING so I had my doubts. But it turned out nicely. Lola got her arm painted with a memermaid on it *pic below* so she was excited about that one! all in all a GREAT Saturday but im ready to stay home on this lovely Sunday morning and get some stuff done. Although I feel that I won't be home all day. In my world SOMETHING ALWAYS comes up! again im NOT complaining but I do need to start this thing called PACKING!!!

Seriously?

So I was never really an avid watcher of Jon and Kate plus 8 but I admit the recent tabloids got me watching this season. I am actually on Team Kate something about Jon just doesn't seem right to me. Then he goes and dates a 22 year old and publicly goes out with her. He must have def been a cheater for awhile because he didn't seem to care AT ALL. And someone who claimed he wanted to be out of the spotlight well Jon you just made your way into the spotlight more than ever!!


Anyways I just realized this morning that my last post was my 100th post. So are you supposed to do any special post at 100 or just continue on as normal?? Btw I can't believe I even made it to 100. I wasn't really into the blogging thing at first but this year I have gotten alot more interested in it. Its a fun way to share your life with everyone and takes up some time. I got rid of my myspace so this is my myspace time filler. haha Btw getting rid of myspace has done wonders for me. I will not explain why but trust me it has!! Myspace is just lame! So now its just blogging and facebook! Oh not to mention all my celebrity websites. Yes im a celebrity gossip addict!!! Anyway time to work!! Happy Tuesday!

NC Weekend

This past weekend I went up to North Carolina with Susan, Theresa (my aunts) and David (one of their bfs). We left Friday morning and drove up to Greenville and they TORTURED me in the Bob Jones Univ Art Museum. It was creepy religious art, Im at christian but that was honestly just weird stuff. Then we drove to Hendersonville did some shopping ate dinner then headed to Bryson City NC. Saturday morning we woke up early and headed to the Nantahala river to go White Water Rafting!! OMG it is soooo fun!! I can't wait to go again but next time Seth will be joining me!! He would LOVE it just as much as I did. After that we ate lunch then drove through the Smokey Mountain national park and at the other side was Gatlinburg TN. Yup we traveled 3 states this weekend. We did some shopping there before we headed to Asheville.







Sunday morning we woke up SUPER early and headed to the Biltmore Estate. The Biltmore is the LARGEST home in the U.S. it has 250 bedrooms and 42 bathrooms at least thats what they told us. We toured the home in about an hour. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this house it is absolutely AMAZING. The grounds are gorgeous I seriously wish I could move up there and just work there. I realize that would not be something to strive for work wise but I don't care. haha We didn't make it to the winery due to time. We spent about 5 hours there ( I could have spent ALL day) then headed back to Charleston. The next time I go up there I will make sure to spend the whole day at the Biltmore.










I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My summer is just insanely busy I am happy about that though. Tonight im going to dinner with Seth, Pam and Wyatt at Liberty! Im kinda sad though this is the last time the 4 of us will go on a "date". On friday they are packing the rest of their stuff and moving to Dallas TX. Ill miss them alot but I know ill see them again sometime soon. I can't wait to visit Texas!!! Anyway off I go!! Ill be sure to update again soon!!

4th of July

Well I hope everyone had a happy and SAFE 4th of July weekend. I tell ya it was one BUSY weekend for me! Friday I had off work like I previously posted. Saturday I went to Pam and Wyatts at 2 for a cookout with Seth and the kids it was small but I really enjoyed it. Later that evening we went out to Riverfront Park on the old navy base and enjoyed some time with friends and his family. Oh and we watched fireworks. After that we went to my friend Heathers moms house we were supposed to drink. I was WAY too exhausted ended up driving home at 1am because I couldn't sleep. Im VERY particular about my sleep it was be QUIET for me to sleep. Anyways today I went back up to her moms house for a cookout at 1 which was really nice. THEN we went to Angela and Stephens for ANOTHER cookout. I tell ya im ready to not cookout. It was a GREAT weekend but I am honestly SO glad its over with.

Next weekend I MIGHT be going White water rafting and to the Biltmore Estate with my 2 aunts and one of their boyfriends. I am WAY excited and hope it all works out. I have to make sure I can get friday off of work. I have leave but I have to make sure everyone will be there.

ALso, At Riverfront Park on Saturday there was a vendor there with jewelry, bows, bags etc! THIS is the website to for her stuff. I got a necklace, a CUTE bracelet thats engraved, AND another bracelet. She engraved it ON SITE so I didn't have to wait or anything. She was so sweet so go check it out!!!
